Privacy statement

This website and the Shortlist scan are a service of Simone Zuurveld, Hilversum, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no.: [to be added]). Contact: info@simonezuurveld.com.

What data we collect

When you run a scan, we store the URL of the scanned store and the scan result, plus an irreversibly hashed version of your IP address to prevent abuse. We do not store your IP address itself. If you request the full report, we store your name, email address and, optionally, your company name and phone number, along with the time and version of the consent you gave.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your data to show you the report and to contact you about the results, based on your consent. Only if you give separate consent will we occasionally send you tips about AI and e-commerce. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Security

Your name, email address, company name and phone number are stored encrypted. The website runs over a secure connection (HTTPS). We only place analytics and marketing cookies with your consent (see Cookies); we do not use advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Bunny Fonts (EU), not from Google.

Cookies

We always use strictly necessary storage: your language choice and cookie settings are kept in your browser, and a security check helps prevent abuse of the scan. This requires no consent and nothing is shared.

Google Analytics (analytics, only with consent). Statistics about visits and pages viewed, to improve the site. Google signals and advertising features are switched off. Google Ireland processes the data, also in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cookies: _ga and _ga_*, up to 2 years.

Your choice is valid for 12 months. You can change or withdraw it at any time: .

Who we share it with

Data is stored with our hosting provider in the EU. For email we may use Klaviyo; Klaviyo also processes data in the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards. We have data processing agreements with our processors. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Scan results without contact details are deleted automatically after 12 months. Contact details and the related report are deleted automatically after 24 months, or sooner if you ask us to.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time via info@simonezuurveld.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.

How the scanner works

The scanner only reads public pages of the specified store, just like a search engine does. It does not log in, fill in forms or place orders.
